By connecting to the USB port or selecting various tips, PocketPower can work with the electronic devices requiring 5V input, such as MP3, MP4, iPod, digital cameras, pocket PC and mobile phones.
Charging
Please follow the instructions when you use the Ni-MH batteries(In order to avoid damage your PocketPower due to leakage, when you use alkaline or other one-free dry batteries, please don’t try charging them.)
USB Charging To charge the PocketPower, simply connect it to the USB port of your PC using the USB extension cable and the proper DC plug. The indicators on the front panel will be lit to show the charging status. Illustration(Charged by the USB port of PC)
Charged by AC Adapter(Optional Accessory) Plug the AC adapter into the wall outlet, then connect one end of the extension cable to the USB output port and the other end to the input port of the PocketPower. The indicators on the front panel will be lit to show the charging status.

Full Charge: Charged through whether USB port of PC or AC Adapter, the PocketPower will automatically stop charging and keep trickle-charging status to avoid damage due to overcharge once it detects the batteries are full.
Control Circuit The control circuit for charging is especially designed in accordance with the characteristics of the Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries, which can meet the requirements of most rechargeable batteries sold in current market. Illustration (Ni-MH Battery Three-Stage Charging Curve):

Ni-MH Battery Charging Curves at Different Charging Status Features of the circuit: 1. The charging technology enables the PocketPower to automatically adjust the parameters value of the electro pulse and make the charging curves in accordance with the current discharging curves. The charging pulse should be dynamic and adjustable because of the dynamic curves. 2. The charging control circuit adopts Fuzzy Mathematics Principle and it features stability and reliability. All these will prevent the PocketPower from mis-detecting and greatly improve the reliability of the charger. 3. The charging control circuit with this technology can work well in spite of different types of batteries, i.e. it can be compatible with Ni-MH, Ni-Cd and zinc-silver batteries at the same time and the charging effect will not varies according to different types of batteries. 4. Meanwhile, this technology has no requirements to the current status of batteries, i.e. the batteries can be normally charged until they have problems of short circuit or open circuit. So this technology is helpful to recover the performance letdown of the batteries. 5. There’s no hurt to the batteries due to adopt automatic control. This technology can extend the batteries’ lifespan.
Connecting to Your Electronic Devices To charge your electronic device, simply connect one end to the USB port of PocketPower and the other end to the device. The yellow indicators on the front panel will be lit to show working status if it is connected properly.
